24 years ago, a group of friends gathered in the heart of Brazil to celebrate the arrival of another new year. Young people, moved by new things and influenced by the electronic wave that came from the eastern seas, decided to celebrate the new times in a different, more fun way. A new universe was born there, the Parallel Universe.

Getting here was an adventure, not everything was rosy, but the obstacles only made us stronger. Everyone's help and belief were fundamental. The sum of forces between organizers and the public, in the same direction, and in the name of freedom of expression, is the pillar of this great celebration.

Believing in this movement is keeping alive the human essence of a real peaceful and harmonious coexistence between species. What sounded utopian happened. Armed with hope and art, all of us, sweet barbarians, changed part of Brazilian cultural life, we made history, we fulfilled a dream that began on a journey of love and peace in the last century.

Our Paralello Universe, more than two decades old, marked by yet another encounter with the lands of Bahia. Many years of stories, of reinterpretations of global psychedelia, bringing together a big family. We don't stick to rules, we stick to what our heart tells us!
